This year marks the 60th anniversary of the end of World
War II, the liberation of the concentration camps and the
death of Anne Frank. The story of Anne Frank and her
family is the cornerstone of this project that explores
social intolerance from a historical perspective and
applies lessons learned from the Holocaust to the present
day.
The
Beyond the Holocaust: Lessons for Today is a
community wide
project
incorporates a national exhibit with performing arts
events and educational opportunities.
The project addresses issues of prejudice and intolerance
and promotes understanding among all faiths and races.
